The AcuRite 06006M PC Connect Wireless Color Display can be used as a replacement display or as an additional display. Observe conditions in multiple rooms by adding the display to any AcuRite Pro 5-in-1 weather sensor. The PC Connect* optional feature enables you to remotely access your environmental data. Simply connect the display to a Windows based PC via the USB cable (included) and view your data online at MyAcuRite or on your smartphone or tablet by using the free AcuRite mobile app for iPhone, Android or iPad. Create email and phone alerts to notify you when conditions change or your presets are reached. Stream data to Weather Underground with Rapid Fire updates. The AcuRite 06006M display stands upright for tabletop use or is wall-mountable. One-year limited manufacturer warranty. Hard To Read

Unfortunately this display has such small font, it's hard to read at any distance. Too, there should be control of temp offsets here before reaching PC Connect.

AcuRite PC Connect Display

The PC Connect display is a very Nice unit, easy to read, with color icons and good backlighting. Plenty of buttons, which the manual explains clearly how to customize to your needs. The display allows your PC to collect data, as well as share data via your internet connection to MyAcuRite for viewing remotely on your smartphone, as well as send data to Weather Underground PWS system. It is not the display's fault but a glitch in the MyAcuRite software for Mac reports all monthly rainfall, not just the day's rainfall, when ever it rains. I will work on that issue with AcuRite support services.

My First Weather Station

Without reading the manual, I figured out about 85% of the functions. When I downloaded the software to my PC, I had a bit of trouble sending data to Weather Underground, but then I read about the mode selector and everything is working now.

This is one half of my Weather Station. I purchased it for the Data Acquisition as well as the Weather Underground function. It seems to want to only save data on 12 minute intervals. I would prefer 12 minute intervals saved once every hour which it has not done yet despite changing the settings. Application needs a "Save" mode so you know the changes are complete. If it does not work I will write software to extract the data I want. Other than that it is a good unit.
