The Davis Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Suite and the WeatherLink LIVE combines some of their most popular products into a sleek all-in-one cloud-based weather station. The simple setup provides everything needed to have the weather station reporting online or access the weather data from a mobile device. The bundle includes the Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Suite and WeatherLink LIVE hub.

The unit is energized by a solar panel during the day and stored energy for power at night. The integrated sensor suite's electronics are sealed for added protection from the elements. The assembly is even cyclic corrosion tested to simulate harsh environments such as heat, humidity and seaside conditions.

The Live hub wirelessly receives data from the Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Suite then transmits the data to your online account via a Wi-Fi or Ethernet cable connection to your router; no console required. The Live hub includes its own barometer, inside temperature and humidity sensors. The powered with the included AC adapter with four AA batteries as backup during power outages.

WeatherLink Network

With WeatherLink LIVE you can join the WeatherLink Cloud Network. The WeatherLink Cloud is Davis' global weather network with thousands of weather stations reporting. Each reporting station has its own page on the site, and is shown on a map as a temperature-color-coded dot that makes it easy to see temperatures worldwide. Click on a dot to see current weather conditions for that station. Adding your station to the WeatherLink Cloud is simple - no web skills needed! You can also access your data (and other weather stations) from the WeatherLink Cloud on an Android or iPhone.

5 stars Impressive quality, relatively easy to set up
This weather station has replaced an Ambient Weather station that I've had for almost a decade. The rain gauge on that station became unreliable, even with regular cleaning, and the anemometer bearings were failing. I went for the Davis Vantage Vue partly because I knew of the company from my days in agrometeorology and partly because it looked easier to maintain. I'm pleased with the quality of the sensor package; the rain gauge is a very clever design that should be easy to clean (fir needles are a continual problem here). Set-up on the existing pole was very easy. The WeatherLink Live modem connects to our router (I used ethernet but wi-fi also would have worked. Installing via an app on my phone was a bit weird - I'd have preferred doing it on the computer but the instructions are clear. The phone app and computer program work smoothly for reviewing the data. I'm also forwarding data to Weather Underground. It would be helpful if the printed instructions had more about that, since I guess many users export their data to that platform. In summary, a well made and powerful system. Service from WeatherShack was very efficient, even if delivery was a bit slow.

4 stars Happy So Far
Products as described. Arrived quickly. Easy to assemble and set up WeatherLink router. It has been in operation 14 days and seems to be working properly. I am a wee bit suspicious that the wind speed is not measuring accurately, but that could easily be a location issue; it is about 7 feet off the ground and is maybe just shielded a little bit by a shrub; slope aspect is gentle but 7 feet may not be high enough to catch full windspeed. I will experiment with alternate locations soon. Also, the manner of attachment to a pole seems flimsy to me...I would be happier if there was a 2 inch receiving sleeve for the post molded into the bottom of the ISS unit. A couple of thumb screws could anchor the post firmly. To firm up the U bolt fastener, I wrapped the top of my post with 1mm rubber sheeting. This seemed to allow more complete contact and a 'snugger' final attachment.
