I had a little trouble in the beginning with the thermometer, I ordered. It was off a few degrees. I text the company told him about my problem,and it was resolved in less than a week. They shipped me a brand new one,that was spot on with the temperature. Love a company that stands behind their product will buy again absolutely.

An ACCURATE, low cost, visible thermometer. And if it isn't exactly right, it is adjustable (but mine was spot on right out of the box).

It looks very nice, I have not got it put up yet since I use it at our mountain property and have not been up there yet. It was what I was looking for. I would buy another when ever I need one. My last one that I am replacing lasted 40 years.

After buying (and returning) two outdoor thermometers from big box stores, because they didn't record the temperature accurately, I decided I'd look for something on-line. I bought the LaCrosse Large Dial Thermometer from WeatherShack. It took a few days longer to arrive than I'd hoped for, but it finally did arrive and I set about to put it up. It comes with a template for two mounting screws one at the top of the dial and the other at the bottom and I lined the template up vertical to the ground, drilled the holes and inserted the screws. But when I slid the thermometer onto the screws I found that the whole thing is canted a few degrees off of vertical. To make it mount vertically, you'd have to align the template a few (5 to 10?) degrees off of vertical. I ended up using only the top mounting slot, which, thankfully, is located in the right position. It's a sad state of affairs when a manufacturer screws up something as fundamental as mounting slots.

Just what I was looking for.
