OVERVIEW

The La Crosse Technology 616-143 Wireless Projection Weather Station and Alarm Clock features radio-controlled time and date, indoor temperature, outdoor temperature and moon phase on a round fully backlit momentary EL (ElectroLuminescent) display for easy night viewing. The backlight is sound activated (60db). Time and Outdoor Temperature alternately project in easy to read soft red digits onto the ceiling or wall of a darkened room.

The 616-143 also includes a perpetual calendar and time alarm with snooze function. The clock even updates for Daylight Savings Time and Leap Year!

wanted the model as it was reasonable and projected the time. the time on both clocks are not readable. i cleaned the lens, helped some but still blurry

Fast and easy setup

I love this product!! It was very easy and fast to setup. Very accurate. The only thing that I don't like is that the backlight doesn't stay on. Therefore it is very difficult to read when the lights are out.

Thank you so much I can't say enough about how well it works then La Crosse Wireless projection weather station and alarm clock this is my second one if you read directions easy to operate thank you absolutely no personally except for the aftermath of when the Twin Towers collapse and the ash mixed with water and all the rest began to fall from

a few concerns

The button to turn projection on or off does nothing It is always on. The button to rotate projected image does not work as it is claimed to. It only has two variables (not 4). The most concerning issue is the outside temperature is displaying temperatures even without putting batteries in the sensor.

Weather station arrived a day ahead of scheduled arrival. Had the unit up and running within 10 minutes of receipt. Works fine, the reason I haven't rated it a five star is that the projection isn't quite as clear as I would have expected, but we have gotten used to it.

The display doesn't stay lit. You have to sit the clock at an unusual angle to get he display on the ceiling. It wasn't at all what I expected. I have it in the bathroom.
