4 stars Instructions are a little hard for me to understand.
We haven't had enough rain to speak of here since I received the unit. I suppose it'll take a little bit of time to figure out how to use it correctly. Would it be advisable to let the rain sensor outdoors during the winter? we sometimes have temps. of -20 more or less?

Seems to be working fine.

2 stars good product frustratingly useless instructions
the little booklet that comes with the device is useless. It only touches on the full capabilities of the thing. It was only by vigorously pursuing my concerns with the company that I learned how to use it as I wished.

5 stars Simple but effective
It took only a few minutes to set up, then it started to rain. It has worked very well. Now we'll have to see how many years it will last!
