The AcuRite 00829 Digital Weather Station uses patented Self-Calibrating Technology to provide your personal forecast of 12 to 24 hour weather conditions. Self-Calibrating Forecasting is generated from weather data measured by the outdoor sensor. The bold, easy to read LCD screen also includes indoor temperature, outdoor temperature, indoor humidity, outdoor humidity, daily high/low records, barometric pressure, moon phase and Intelli-Time clock/date. The wireless sensor includes a thermometer and hygrometer and features powerful wireless technology, weather-resistant construction and an integrated hanger for easy mounting. This device sits on our kitchen counter tucked in a corner to see as we pass- mostly interested in outside temp- but also stop once in awhile to push buttons to check high and low for the day inside and out. I may need to calibrate the humidity readings- they seem to be running high but as yet I am not sure. Like the size -a lot of info in a small space. And easy to set up --the atomic clock is a nice feature and it is bang on with our other electronic clocks. Would buy again.

I had a previous AcuRite produce for several years. This weather station is proving to be just as good and helpful to get an accurate picture of what the outdoors is like compared to the indoors. I can definitely recommend this weather station to anyone looking for a device of this nature.

This weather station is for our RV trailer and that is what it was purchased for. We wanted to have a station that gave us indoor and outdoor temperatures, which this station does a very accurate job. RV's owners are always struggling with humidity issues and this station provides the heads up if the humidity is going to be an issue. Would be nice with a backlight but I knew it didn't have one before I purchase so I wasn't disappointed.

This Weather Station Has Everything I Need

I found a link to this AcuRite Wireless Weather Station while looking for a replacement weather station that would have the same information as a dead LaCrosse product I had (said product had been discontinued). LaCrosse did not have any other weather stations displaying the same information as the one I originally had. So imagine my delight when I came across this AcuRite Weather Station displaying the information that was on my old LaCrosse. It was very easy to set up and works perfectly. The manual that comes with it provides very clear instructions. I hope it lasts a long time (the LaCrosse lasted around 8 years through all kinds of weather). And I hope that when it goes to weather station heaven I can get a replacement that is just like it. It provides all the information I need. It is perfect!

Basic information offered from this station. Took it a while to synch and needed to be calibrated. The unit has worked like a charm since. I would also recommend the sensor shield - keeps the remote unit out of the rain.
