DESCRIPTION

OVERVIEW

The Davis Instruments 6357 Vantage Vue Integrated Sensor Suite (ISS) are the same sensors included with comparable Davis Vantage Vue console/ISS package (Davis 6250). Cross-compatible with Davis Vantage Pro 2 wireless weather stations.* It can be used to replace an original ISS or in applications where a console isn't needed and only a PC connection is required. The Vantage Vue ISS has the ability to monitor wind, rain, temperature, & humidity.

To use the Davis 6357 sensor suite with a PC or MAC without having a console, you'll need:

One sensor suite, the Weather Envoy and a direct WeatherLink data-logger cable OR one sensor suite and a WeatherLink Live hub.

This Integrated Sensor Suite DOES NOT come with a Vantage Vue console or mounting pole.

*Not compatible with Vantage Pro 2 cabled weather station.

I bought this unit as a standby for one I've had for 10+ years. If the original ever fails. It's performed perfectly all this time, only changed batteries every couple years.

International accuracy

I have been using Davis instruments for three years now and I am completely satisfied with the accuracy of the equipment and the service they provide. I said international because my first experience with Davis was in the country of Haiti where my wife and I were missionaries for just under two years. This equipment kept us and our compound aware of the weather conditions around us and how to prepare. We are back in the states now and have purchased Davis again for our safety here. I left our other Davis equipment there for the remaining missionaries. Thanks for good service and products.

This purchase was a replacement for my first purchase fourteen years ago. Very accurate and reliable. Had been through some oretty heavy weather conditions over the years. Sun destroys everything plastic down here. Would recomenned and purchase again.

This is my third Davis 6357 and each one has preformed admirably. The only reason I have owned three is I have moved twice since my first one and left the old ones behind, not that they stopped working. Wonderful weather station and very easy to set up

Replacement Vantage Vue

Replaced our original Vantage Vue after almost 8 yr lifespan (the circuit board being the likely cause of death). The new unit that replaced it went online w/few significant issues (initially ran 4 hours, then generated some wacky temps for a few hours, then settled back to reading normally). Still having "Low Battery Transmitter" readings (w/new battery, this after 1-2 weeks). Only issue w/WShack order was the unit was shipped significantly after credit card was charged...suggest that it be noted on their website....dh

So far so good

This is my second Vantage Vue Solar powered wireless Integrated Sensor Suite. The first one worked for a few weeks, then the solar power failed and i had to add batteries every week. Needless to say i was not happy. This time, after a few weeks in operation it still works. The information is displayed in my home in two rooms. the Information available to me is all i need. I hope the product holds its promise!
