Davis Instruments 6614

The Davis Instruments 6614 Solar Power Kit is used to power and shelter a Vantage Pro2 console, Vantage Vue console or Weather Envoy for remote or field installations. The kit consists of three components: a 5-watt solar panel, a 1.4 Ah battery, and a regulator circuit with a protective housing in which the console or Envoy can be mounted.

Note: The battery is sufficient in most cases to power a wireless Vantage Pro2 console, Vantage Vue console or wireless Weather Envoy. For extra solar charging in low light installations the Extra Solar Panel Kit 6616 may be used. The Heavy Duty Solar Power Kit 6612 is required when power is needed for a cabled console, a cabled Weather Envoy or Envoy8X.
